UnHitchUs has identified qualified and compassionate mediators who can assist you and your spouse in working through disagreements that are “bumps in the road” to your divorce. Our virtual mediation process will efficiently help you work through any issues holding you back from finalizing your divorce. However, keep in mind your UnHitchUs divorce lawyer is also a trained divorce mediator so they can often help resolve issues.

They can meet with you virtually for as many sessions of mediation as you may require, and in that process, they can assist you with filling out the forms on the UnHitchUs platform. Who are they?

We will set you up with highly trained financial professionals who can help you embark on this new chapter with your most informed and prosperous foot forward if you and your UnHitchUs attorney determine this expertise is needed or helpful.

These professionals can assist with budgeting, allocating the assets and debts in a fair way, or thinking through financial decisions such as “who should keep the house?” UnHitchUs can refer you to financial professionals who can assist with these issues and others, at a reasonable hourly rate.

Parenting coordinators come to the aid of parents who have conflict and tension. Whether they cannot communicate or cannot make decisions pertaining to their children, parents navigating the post-divorce process may benefit from a parenting coordinator.

Parenting coordinators may help with issues relating to parenting schedules, care providers for children, child-rearing disputes such as bedtimes or diet, healthcare management, and religious observances or education — just to name a few. Often, they can help with de-escalating parental conflict to which the children are exposed, resolving issues in a timely and cost-efficient manner, and ultimately, coach the parents on better ways to communicate about the children. Who are they?
The American Bar Association defines Divorce Coaching as follows: Divorce coaching is a flexible, goal-oriented process designed to support, motivate, and guide people going through divorce to help them make the best possible decisions for their future, based on their particular interests, needs, and concerns.

Divorce coaches have different professional backgrounds and are selected based on the specific needs of the clients. For example, some divorce coaches are financial planners, mental health professionals, lawyers, or mediators who have experience dealing with divorcing clients.
