FIRST PAYMENT: $599
With this first payment, you will get access to our platform to design your divorce. Our platform was designed by an experienced divorce attorney who’s done thousands of divorces and knows what you need to be thinking about as you make this important life decision. Once this first payment is made, it is considered earned by UnHitchUs, because it gives you access to the platform. However, there is no obligation to finalize the divorce process.*
SECOND PAYMENT: $1,999
You will make your second payment when all of the data you have entered is gathered into a finalized document and sent to your assigned attorney. After your payment is processed, you will have a one-hour virtual consultation with your experienced divorce lawyer. They will answer any questions you have, while empowering you to move forward post-divorce. Finally, once you’ve returned the signed documents, we will file them for you with the court and pay the court costs. In most instances, the court will notify you after 90 days once everything is final.**
*Just as we advocate for thoughtfulness when assessing your relationship with your spouse, we also want to promote pause when entering the platform. By breaking up our payment plan, we hope you feel no pressure to invest more time or money before you’re ready to proceed with the divorce.
**Occasionally, a judge will require you to appear in court. In those cases, the cost for an attorney to accompany you in court is an extra charge.
